is just finishing up an extremely busy year with Publicis Groupe –
filled with a variety of new clients and challenging projects.

While The Media Magnate and The Tortured Cowboys Fan have taken an
extended-but-temporary back seat, they shall return.

In the meantime,
the
Scharf family wishes everyone a Happy Holiday as well as a very
Happy, Healthy, and Successful New Year for 2014!

Eric M. Scharf had the great honor of
spending some quality time with none other than Mr. William Shatner
at the Hollywood Palms theater in Naperville, Illinois.

Mr. Shatner was hosting showings of both "Star Trek II: The Wrath of
Khan" and "Star Trek: Into Darkness."
-
-
Eric spent the
greater part of the previous week trying and failing to block off
enough time to create something memorable and worthy enough of Mr.
Shatner's signature.

After encouragement from a brief glance at what
his good friend planned to present to his Kirkness
– and with
no time left –
Eric "found" 30
minutes to generate the above-right poster image (and another 20
agonizing minutes to generate an 18 x 24 print). Mr. Shatner
– to Eric's
surprise –
was pleased with
the result and gladly accepted a copy . . . before seeing Eric and
his party head off to see "Star Trek: Into Darkness."

The new year
always brings change. Eric M. Scharf has agreed to an exciting
change in becoming a Senior Digital Project Manager
for
the Strategic Business Solutions (SBS) Advanced Products Group (APG)
– within the RE:SOURCES USA shared services
division of PUBLICIS GROUPE WORLDWIDE in downtown Chicago.
